When you buy a street exhaust with removable baffles for track does that mean its straight open pipe?

I've had race cans that I've put removable baffles in, with no ill effect -- I just don't bother now....

Yes, normally when the baffle comes out you are left with a straight through pipe - the baffle basically just partly blocks the big hole when it's in to reduce the noise

I dont know much about how exhaust works & back pressure. So I guess it doesnt hurt to run an open straight through exhaust on a superbike? Why is moto GP exhaust shorter & different then other classes? If anyone knows? Thanks

MotoGP - 4 stroke 125/250 - 2 stroke As long as the fuelling matches the exhaust you can run whatever you want

My 1050 has a small m4 gp style slip-on can. I found a shorter gp can I would like the look of better but it is like a exhaust tip, no baffle. I dont care about noise. I have the bike tuned for the little m4. With no baffle I guess it would need to be tuned again? Or guess I can find some kind of little baffle to fab into it right?

Yes just like that but it didnt have the curve. Who did you get yours from & did the baffle come with it? My m4 is the size of the ARROW 3into1 exhaust for the s3 1050. Im going to take it off and put it on my t595. Then get a pipe like yours for my new 1050. Any info on price and who made it would be great.

it was made by lee stewart of exhaust solutions, (01922400125) he made mine to my spec of very short, but can make any size length combo which you require, made to same spec as bsb/gp bikes cost me 160 quid

I would have liked for him to make a pipe with a baffle like earls. Or something close. Maybe I can find a shop in the US. Thanks
