After my regulator failed I tried to aquire a second hand one from the usual sources e.g Triumphant and Sprint Manufacturing but failed to get one due to the high demand for them. Not wanting to pay £180+ that Triumph wanted I managed to find an alternative. The company is call ELECTREX WORLD Tel 01491 682369 they make the regulators themselves and apparently supply parts to Triumph 675 racing teams they supply and manufacture lots of different electrical parts for motorcycles. Price for the regulator model no RR99 was £88.13 inc vat with 1 yrs warranty so a nice saving and its new so it should last. They also do next day delivery. It is worth a look at that price. British made to. Not Jap Crap like Triumph have been using!

Electopsrt in the USA make one that works fine...got and fitted one. But beware of thier alternators, they may not fit your 2002. I had 2 which didn't fit from them and they still haven't sent a refund ELECTOSPORT Take your money, send you stuff that doesn't fit and fail to refund your money!!! Then admit that they don't have parts that fit your bike

What Phil said. They don't list the later bikes. http://www.electrexworld.co.uk/erol.html#1290X0 While the piccy looks right I'd be worried about the mechanics.

2002 daytonas and the other models which share the same regulator use the RR99. link below. http://www.electrexworld.co.uk/erol.html#5259X0 electrex world is not electrosport which is apparently different company. Got the RR99 on my 'tona and works great.

Hi Geoff! I have the same problem. My regulator is dead. After loocking on some web site, I think th RR99 is the good one, but I haven't presently ordered. Did the connector fit well? on the picture it seams to be only 1 black and one red cable, but on my Daytona there are two black and 2 red cables... Thanks

Arga. the RR99 it is direct replacement for your bike it has three yellow wires for the three phase, two red and two black wires as the original. Plugs straight into your wiring loom. Make sure it is not the alternator before you buy.
