Been out for a bimble today, got passed by a 600 GSXR along a straight bit, caught him up through some twisties & began to wish he hadn't passed me, at the end of the good bit there is a roundabout with a sweeping left hander coming off it, I lined him up for the pass & went by fully cranked over giving him a polite wave with the left hand. He never passed me again, must have been an auful shock for the poor thing being passed by a Bonnie. Especially as I think he thought he was going for it, he was hanging his arse off & poking his knee out! Power to the Bonnieville

Had a run out to Chelmsford this morning.... only a short blast but the A414 can be fun if you get a clear run at it....! the Emgo open cans sound glorious... a real Basso Profundo at 9000 revs and everyone gets outta yer way in plenty of time

Hello, any one in? I can only assume every one is in their garages/sheds tinkering. I have been shopping & have a bag of bits to rebuild my forks, so off to get my hands dirty. See you in the spring

Did all the work on mine in spring to midsummer then the dealer jobs I had done (brake overhaul £253, front wheel rebuild & alarm removal £248) then the arthritis in me digits has totally screwed my season then the bad weather put the mockers on the back end of it for the duration.... Sigh.... roll on the spring and some decent pain killers.... I'll be out makin' folks ears bleed

My job shouldn't take that long, I was passing ironic comment about the lack of traffic in this area, & people being locked in sheds! I think!

We don't want our chrome to get wet and go rusty do we not much of a problem on the TBS but on a Bonnie a real problem and spoked wheels are a bugger to clean once they get s**t order. Bring on the summer

My wheel rims are a tad manky already.... another summer or two and they'll either need rechroming or replacing with alloy items bit of a toss up in costs really rechroming & rebuilding or new-S/h rims and a rebuild..... bloody bikes are always a work in progress....!

Blue look on ebay for a set of alloy rims they look so much better than the chrome ones and aren't that bad to keep looking good. It was one of the reasons I went for a pre 99 TBS
