Yes you can ... anything off a daytona /s3 (t595/t509) and the later 955i with same shape tail are all interchangeable

The 2001 on models were the more angular shape., so no it won't fit

TR, There are two '01 body styles. Yours was actually planned as a '02 model, but rushed into production as the result of a fire at Hinkley. The other '01 body style is the same as the T595.
The '01s like yours have been nicknamed '01NS', NS for new style.
