Daytona T595 (97-98)

I'm converting my '98 T595 into a streetfighter, the idea is to have bugger all up front other than a small acewell speedo and a small headlight (e.g. http://www.highwayhawk.co.....=0&cat_id=5).

anyway, long story short. I've changed the top yoke for one that allows speedtriple bars (some sort of comfort kit), and the acewell sits neatly in the cut out for the ignition key so I'm toying with the idea of putting the ignition somewhere else. I've thought about in the battery box (ala the rear seat release) but the battery's in the way.

Any ideas? Not too bothered about keeping the steering lock as I'll use other means.

If you got a nice mounting bracket fabricated - the how about above or below where I've got my scottoiler?

Or even mounted where the fake air scoop is.....

Kevm fabricated a mount down by the engine on the right hand side...try a peek at his pictures, it may show it up.

look down directley below the crash bung and level with the top of the oil cooler...

Thanks for the suggestions. Have stripped (the bike) and found a suitable location. Just need to extend the wiring now.
