So, there was a spate of nice Thunderbird Sports being available at a price I could (almost) afford and now they've all gone in to hiding. Are the Legend's so different as to drop from the 'possibles' list? I'm looking at only getting £ 2,750 for the Speed 4 and have nothing to add (plus, the missus wants a new kitchen work-top!) Should I hold tight until the sun comes out again?

Legend's are smaller and not a patch on a TBS I'd wait for the right bike to come along rather than buy a different model. The best time to buy a TBS is in the autumn as they tend to be ridden by homosexuals & deviants who prefer to ride up young chaps bottoms in the cold weather rather than be out riding their bike. Autumn/winter is always good time for a bargain

Thanks, A.H. That's exactly what I had in mind, too. Best way of keeping the chill out, I say!

Just in case anyone in our IT dpt thinks I meant any of the above, it's all BS - apart from the work-top and the bike - phew.

Legend is a different bike it's a lowered budget T'Bird single front disc less power not so much chrome. TBS more power better suspension better brakes. They will be about again some people advertise them at silly money then take them off the market when they don't sell, a month or so later they pop up again, when I got mine the same bikes were advertised a few times. Like always after I bought mine a real peach came up 20 miles down the road mine was very very good but this one was mint, sods law

There are a couple on e-bay at the moment. Don't know if they are good 'uns though.
