Tiger 1050 (07->)

Anyone here done any work with maps for the Tiger 1050? Looking to get rid of the low-rpm jerkiness/abruptness without harming fuel mileage to much.

Thanks.

Hi

I set about making a map for my Tiger by hand, as it were. First thing I did was to change the fuel/air mixture across the board to the stochastic ratio (what is that, 12.5 to 1?). I figured, change one thing at a time, go for a ride. I took it out along a road which is full of tight 90 degree bends, previously a nightmare with the 'bang on - bang off' throttle pick-up response. Strangely, it seems dramatically improved! Someone can tell me whether I'm imagining it.

I meant to fiddle around with the maps and ignition timing, but I've been up to other stuff. The fuel consumption hasn't been badly affected.

Hope this helps
John
