Can someone please help, have just bought my T509 which i love. Unfortunately its just broken down. Temp guage reads off the scale, only get neutral and engine lights on,no oil pressure light. No lights or indicators working and bike will not start, even AA man had no idea, i need to get it fixed as i'm addicted to riding it , even though i've only ridden it 3 times

sounds like your earth block
it will be near your battery
lots of black wires going into a plastic block
take it apart and check for burn marks
if its a white block then it should be upgraded to a blue one
only costs a few pounds
it may be wrapped in foam rubber

mark, the early ones didn't have the earth block (as far as i know, can't find one on mine). check all your relays, i've had the had the fuel pump, and the one for the brain fail on me. other than that, check the wiring loom where it goes around the frame /steering area, the conectors are known to go green and break there. good luck.

seems to be the earth block, justgot to get ecu reset, but looking promising, cheers all

Is this not just a three hot cycle re-set if all the faults are now sorted?

Run the bike three times up to normal operating temp - let it cool and if no faults MIL will re-set - basically use it three times and fourth time light will go out if all is well
