Well we had 3 rides at Cadwell last week at the Beezumph rally and had a mixed time. The engine is definately feeling much stronger than it ever has with loads of grunt. However our oil / breather problems still hound us The engine is now back in France and has had a thourough checkover. The good news is that the big ends and mains are all ok. The oil pump is still seen as the culprit and is being changed for a standard one. Whilst apart we also found that the head is slightly warped (about 8 thou) and that the P&M barrels are 18 thou shorter than the standard Triumph ones. Next week is going to really hectic with a long trip to the South of France to collect the engine and then racing at Snetterton Saturday and Sunday. If anyone is coming along do come and say hi.
