Have searched the threads and seen a few have had issues with removing the rear calipers to examine the brake pads. What an allignment! And the front ones popped out in 3 mins flat. I am now investing in a set of metric "allen" keys with 3/8" drive sockets - a first for me. Not sure I have ever had to torque up an alen bolt before.. I read that EBC's pads seem to have poorer response in wet than the stock (Nissan?) pads. Any views?

Front wheel spindle and its pinch bolts are allen keys, which should be torqued. Not sure if it's necessary, but I take the rear wheel out to get at the caliper.

I think you'll find pads for a Triumph will work better than those for a Nissan.

yeah yeah! I was trying to ask (inexpertly) if the OEM pads are Nissan? Why oh why oh why (insert Daily Mail rant) can't front and rear calipers be t'same.. And why can't evry minor bolt head be 8mm (or 10), and one size of Torx and .. ...blah..blah. <wanders off muttering about designers, service revenue protection, people with skinny bloody hands..>

Jeff, I'm sure the stock pads are neither Nissan nor Toyota but word has it that T uses Nissin OEMs.
