Might make for closer racing, but if that's what you want why not put everyone on proddie R6's.

Racing is about competition. And that means riders/manufacturers/teams etc etc

yep one tyre to rule them all and bridgestone got it no more lap times getting smashed as there only allocated 20 per race week this includes qualifiers- RIP development for uslot

Initially the single Tyre rule in WSB was seen as a joke as some riders were getting the odd duff tyre but they are now breaking the lap records.

The 125 and 250 series have managed with a single tyre rule for ages and their tyres improved as soon as Dunlop stopped doing MotoGP tyres
