Hi I want to do the tail tidy treatment on my 2000 Speedy (its the quick version, you know, Black). Found a thread that pointed to the right photos but no dimensions, anybody know? To go with this I want to fit a hugger that goes below swing arm and protects the complicated suspension assembly, but I cant find one, anybody know who makes that. Cheers

The 955i version of the T595 had a 2 cm shorter swinging arm which makes fitting a hugger that goes beneath the arm to protect the linkages an utter bastard. The gap is pretty tight (unless the chain is fairly worn so that the wheel can move back further), I had to do a bit of 'adjusting' with a hacksaw on a T595 low type hugger to fit. I also had to fabricate new brackets for it. I don't know what make the one I used is, it isn't marked and I've had it some while.

Lee....I had the same model S3 as yours a few years ago...I got a hugger that went under the swing arm from NWS...Genuine Carbon Fibre.....about £140.....but I think they did plastic ones approx half that price IIRC.....Didn't look as good though....

Well done that man, just what I was looking for. Need to find some piccies to decide between Carbon, Silver ghost (sounds cheese but you never know) and black, on the special fast ones (black), hard to choose. Cheers Lee

NWS don't make huggers anymore (they don't make anything anymore). Pyramid bought the NWS moulds and took over production alongside their own, don't know how quality compares. The NWS design hugger was a truly ugly design though. Pyramid's own is much nicer (quality on mine is spot on too).

Their site works. You sure that they're no longer in business? http://www.n-w-s.com/triumph/955i-00.html The bad news is that it looks the same as the one on my bike, which means it rubbed on the tyre without cutting as stated above.

Strange that the site's still up. Simon wound up the accessories business some time back, with Pyramid taking over the hugger production.
