Following a 2 week holiday in the south of France (via the Classic racing at Chimay!) we have just returned home with our newly rebuilt engine. Quite a few things were found wrong other than the bad piston to bore clearance. This included the crank being 0.0002" undersize on the main bearing journals (explained the drop in oil pressure but not what you would expect from an alleged new crank!). The primary drive also had some attention with the standard triplex chain being reverted to. This weekend we will be re fitting into the chassis and having a running outfit ready for Cadwell Park the following weeknd. Should get at least 3 laps of practice for running in

Will do. Come and say hi. Had the motor running yesterday and sounded great. Found a hairline fracture in the oil tank we got to sort otherwise all systems go. Will be frustrating running in though!
