Due to a spate of motorcycle accidents recently, Grampian police have decided to add stability wheels and a roll cage to their fleet of bikes....

Or maybe it was just that their laundry was being over-starched!

Indeed!
There were car spaces within 20 yards!

Interferring with a police man in his duties...... They may have been attending an incident - you never know. It couldn't be to get donuts now though; after all, never heard of a unit using their cars (with lights going) to pick up a chinese takeaway - oh er, yes there was that one a few years back........

Quite a few years ago I was pulled over by a friendly cop on a BMW R80. He said he always got sent to fetch the chips because he could get through traffic quick and because the chips could be kept warm in a little fairing cubby hole just above the cylinders.

If it was an incident I'm sure they could have picked an empty 'normal' space, which they'd driven past, and jogged in the last 20 yards.
They're often parked outside the local Chinese take-a-way on double yellows and standing in the queue inside.

Anyway, nuff said.

Got stopped on my tandem last week for riding the wrong way down a one way street. Fair enough you might say - except it was two way ... ?

And they're worried that they're losing the confidence of the general population.
