One for the camera chaps on here. Looking to replace my "Lost" Sony DSCT200 (Thanks Son!) and the above camera seems to be getting good reviews. It needs to be a compact camera not a DSLR, any opinions either positive or negative on the above chioce? Are or is there a better camera out there for the money, I've found it for £214 inc P&P.

£90 with import and handling charges. Sod it, I went for the Panasonic in the end. After reading God knows how many reviews I just ended up confusing myself! The FX-500 had more good points than bad and seemed to be the best overall camera for the money. Will be here tomorrow, can't wait to get snapping again.

Wise move, Tribbledee Trubbledee. The reason that Olympus is cheap is because it's crap. The shutter lag is so bad that even psychics won't touch it...

Had an e mail from them (Camerabox) confirming next day (Thurs) delivery. Good service so far! Free 2nd yr guarantee as well.

I've a DMC FX-9 and it's a fine little camera - so the newer ones should be better. Panasonics always review well.

Looked at those too, toss up between the extra focal length or the OS really.

Camera has just been delivered so like a good boy I've put the battery on charge and settled down to read the instructions. 118 pages FFS!!!!! All I want to do is point, press a button and take a picture. I am depressed but I will not let it beat me!
