after a dodgy start the one tyre rule has made WSB better.

Disappointing though as Michelin appeared to be getting things together towards the end of the season

actually a one tyre rule should make it better as it levels the playing field...it'll take a bit of time for the teams to tweak their machines to suit the tyre; then they can focus on the machine; suspension should still get worked on to get the best out of the tyre.
