Took my Sprint RS in for the fuel line recall and for the tickover issue to be sorted. They did both jobs, and the bike is fine now. Not the warmest reception in the world, but they did what I asked, and the non-recall work was only sixty quid. Overall, I am quite satisfied.

I bought a 2nd hand bike from them. Despite arranging 2 weeks in advance to pick up they hadn't prepped it when I arrived and I had to wait. And when I went to adjust the chain, one of the swing arm pinch bolts was loose. And there were a couple of fairing bolts missing.

Well, I was expecting them to be awful tbh, as their reputation on here and other places does not seem that good. As I said, they did what I needed to be done and I wasn't ripped off. They weren't very friendly at all, I doubt I'll go back again. Hughendon M40 (who also seem to have a dubious reputation) are also nearby and so far I have found them to be friendly and helpful for odds and sods, although I 've not had any workshop service there as yet.

Oh yes, I've had a good read of that. Sad really that both of my local Triumph dealers seem to have such chequered reputations. As I said before, so far only OYT have had the bike into their workshop, and they did what was needed and at not an outrageous cost. No idea which one of the 2 I'll consider using when it comes to servicing. I will prolly end up using the excellent small back street chap in Oxford I've used for all previous bikes, although fuel injection is not really his thing IIRC.

I stood in front of the sales guy for almost an hour waitng for him to decide to serve me or answer the phone. He kept answering the phone, so I went elsewhere to buy a brand new Trophy. Not good reports on them at all.

I took On Yer Bike's speed triple out for a test ride, I was sold. When I came back the sales guy was on the phone. No worries I thought, I'll just hang back for a bit before I lay down a deposit on a new one. 20 minutes later the guy is still making small talk on the phone. I had to wait for him to finish as he still had my license in his desk. I finally walked out with my license & took my sale with me.

OOh! I just remembered a comedy moment at on Yer Triumph A few years back. I asked for a price on fitted Bridgestone BT56's (said it was a while back) to my T5 Triple. Most places at the time charged £220. They kept a straight face & said £300. I couldn't & pissed myself laughing right out the door. I guess at least they are consistent.
