Hello again all, not been on for while but fear not the complete idiot is back.

Need help, or a can of petrol, some potatoes and a few beers to share whilst we watch my 1997 T595 burn.

Problem started last year, bike wasn't starting and was making the most horrendous of noises in vain of trying, lots of folks here helped and it was decided that the dreaded spragititis had surfaced, alas I was pointed in the direction of Sandy @ Triumphant, who gladly did a full engine rebuild in 8 weeks for about £900, happy days ensued, she came back quicker than I can remember and all was well, until.........some fool pulled out on me on a roundabout, the brakes saved me, and to show my discontent at the drivers actions, verbal abuse and a quick burst of full revs in neutral scared the poor driver in the euro idiot box to death...job done !

The next morning..........I went to start her and nothing, just zero, all the idiot lights were there but failed to start.... a quick jump off the car saw me to work, however on the way I noticed that the bike would burp a hiss when I hit 6,000 rpm, then grumble fart and overrun whilst still attempting to accelerate, on shutting the throttle, it just overruns constantly, checked all of the exhaust and head bolts and all are fine, next morning and no start again, jumped it, revved it, MIL light then came on, and bike died, since then it hasn't started, new battery, still not firing up. Tried again today.... and it attempts to start, after 10 secs or so I get a loud click from the region of the starter ? any ideas ? apart from taking over the world ?

I need tuition or old yellow will have to be put down....

Great wording there rob,
Do you know you have blown every fecking bike you have owned up!, christ im never loaning you mine again!.

Peeps my good brother needs help, anyone with ideas please give em to him, its not his fault he is a twazzook sometimes, but he just does not have much luck with two wheeled objects powered or not!, best knowledgable peeps here i think are RED BARON, THROWBACK or the mighty J-ZEUS.

RED BARON, you've been to robs before, if you go round - take something to hit him with! since he has no mechanical sympathy whatsoever!

take care bob,
your ever loving brother Adam.

As RB said, "Could be a number of things"

Was the engine low on oil? Triumphs (all of them) react very poorly to low oil.

If you have a MIL then you can read the error codes out (with tuneboy or similar) maybe that will help?

Hard to point you in the right direction without more info

Oil was cool, and was running perfectly well, not too sure what the prob is the hiss appears to be from the head or manifold, but can't quite firgure out where? and as for the starting prob, I have no idea !

Ah TLC yes the bike has had lots of it, full engine rebuild, brakes, spockets, new rubber, new battery and clutch tis just the bleedin lump !

And thank you to my less than courteous brother ! I didn't blow up the DT once lol

ok the cagiva blew up once, the aprillia kept blowing up about 6 times in total, and then there was the laverda, that just caught fire, and started when it wanted too.....man that made some noise lol

Ad we don't mention siblings as it gets embarrassing, that's why I never mentioned you lol
