Weather permitting Karl and I are planning a run tomorrow. Aiming to leave Wick 11.30ish, any other local riders are welcome to join us. Either respond here or email at bdothoneymanattiscalidotcodotuk (I am sure you can figure out the dots etc) with your contact details . Destination/duration of run to be decided by mutual agreement.

Have you been drinking Bruce!? Would like to come for a run but as you know I'm being taken out to lunch tomorrow. If you come out west pop by. I'll no doubt see the glow of you coming over the horizon from miles away. Just as well I can't come out with you tomorrow but then I'd love to hear the explanation you'd give to Karl for being wasted by a detuned naked and gay bike.

Hello Mr Flyer. Did you see me at Armadale on Saturday afternoon? I was heading into Thurso to buy a pepper and a fennel bulb. My black lines or yours? Can't play with the Big Boys cause they would show me how slow I am . Bettyhill sounds good on the 6th. Hopefully catch up with you before then

Poor Ginga lad, will get him to shave it off prior to any visit. His TL will be needing virgin run soon, poor lad... Just finished cleaning mine after the Knockhill run, vary vary wet! Can you give me your suspension settings? Put 021's on it and it's just chewing its way through them, especially the rear...no manual and was wondering if speedie is different from 955 Daytona? any advice though my good man Cheers and dinna polish it too much... Where would I find you in Tongue, should I find myself passing?

Should you be passing I live at 15 varich Place. A silver Astra will be parked there. As for suspension settings I don't know what they are. I got them off an old Performance Bikes booklet years ago. They were for the Daytona though. As far as I'm aware Speedy and Daytona settings are the same. Keeps chewing the tyres. Possibly it's just cause these bikes beg to be ridden enthusiastically. I got 800 miles out of a Michelin sports tyre recently! Consider myself lucky if I get 2000 miles out of a back tyre regardless of make.

On Thursday? Don't know just a shortish local run. If several turn up will just go along with the majority view. Are you up for it? If so any ideas for a route yourself?

Sorry Flyer, but I think it is time to re-educate your other half ! Bikes, ride outs and anything else pertaining to bikes takes precedence. Dinner dates, casual chats over a meal are reserved for winter months, and only if there is to much snow built up around the garage thus not allowing you entry, but even then your other half should really be out there shoveling the snow away from garage door to grant you access.

Karl, I can only agree, however, I think the dinner has more to do with me organising things without checking what I am doing & her holding me to it... No doubt you will all manage fine without my attandance & I will make better efforts for the next. Enjoy

Aye good fun and sorry I wimped out on the run back with you. Opinion divided on the DVD! Why did you like it? I liked looking at the bikes and hearing them but other than that it was a bit of a waste of time and effort. Maybe thinking of a run with Bruce at the weekend, you up for it? Dunno what day. I'm off both Sat and Sun but not sure about Bruce. For me the weather's the deciding factor. Cheers.

Yeah, I am off sat & sun. Letting the weather be the deciding factor sounds good. Sounds like a few others might be up for it as well. Any ideas where you want go?

Hi Danny No much craic really out west here. Would like to go for a run at the weekend but we have people coming to view the house on Sunday and will probs be made to cut the lawn on Saturday. Bruce has discovered the delights and the benefits of countersteering to the point of where he's now known as fatfinger as opposed to two fingers. I might need to change into fifth and sixth if I go out for a run with him now. Hope he doesn't read this weeks MCN else he'll be 'kin insufferable. Arais rule!

Working 12 hour shifts all week so not much chance to play this week . Might try and go a run on Sunday if you or anyone else is up for it?

Grass cutting Simon........borrow a sheep you have plenty round your area, or are they all scared of you ? Get your good woman to show people round the house, while you get yourself and the bike out of the way, lest you put prospective buyers off. Not seen MCN this week but sounds like I might need to browse through it !
