I saw the new Honda retro 70s racer at the Barcelona show.

Can't remember the exact name of it but ( if we can find a picture on the net) I think you'll like it. a bit in the Trident direction but even nicer IMO.

Check it out.

With the Ducati retro bikes on the market too, Triumph has finally got serious competition!

That bike must scare the shit out of Honda.

If they bring it out they'll never sell another Fireblade through Goldwing again, its pure sex.

It fulfills every need, panders to the classic mob (I'd sell my CBX and Jota, wouldnt need them any more) the modern nekid bike mob CB1300 and half the Ducati and Triumph crowd. I just hope it wouldnt be an extreme riding position so tall lads can enjoy it as well.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder they say.

Personally, I think it looks hideous, particularly the front of the fairing. How characterless and boring is that 4 cylinder inline motor going to be. USD forks and radial calipers are not retro either. No thanks.

Now if Triumph were to do something similar.
1050 Speed Triple mechanicals and styling with a hint of Slippery Sam about it

I think the latest version, pictured in MCN, kept the fairing and headlights, but moved the oil cooler back, under the fairing.

Say, that think looks like it has a tank off a '93 - '95 Trident, which gives me an idea......
