A new Triumph solus dealer opens in Saltaire Road, Shipley, West Yorkshire in August/September. Cobb & Jagger, who are already Ducati and Kawasaki dealers, have taken on the Triumph franchise http://www.cobbandjagger.co.uk/

I just noticed that on my way past there today. (That's the shop in my avatar pic) Had a chat with Charlie (half of Cobb & Jagger) and he says the KAwasaki franchise is going and the ground floor will be refitted as a proper Triumph showroom with clothing etc, similar to the Ducati setup on the first floor. Seems Triumph were fed up with Eddy's ramshackle dealership and sacked them. They've got the first few bikes in now, but they've only had the franchise about a week. I'm gonna have a play on the Street Triple R demp when that comes in, hopefully they'll let me have it for a decent ride (they let me demo my TDR250 for a full weekend before I bought that). Should be good. Hell of a lot closer than York (I live 2 minutes up the road) and Charlie's a good bloke.

Thx for that Steve I was unaware, dealt with them in the past, seem ok, though that was before the took on Ducrapi they were a Guzzi dealer. Well as least I now have somewhere to go for those little spares items I might need, I virtually pass there shop every day to and from work, tis only a slight detour less than 6 miles from home or work, at least that saves me going to York when need must, might pop in this week and take a look

Hope they have improved their PDI, when I bought my old RS from them a few years ago it was running way too rich at tickover, and the gear change lever was so loose on the splines you could hardly change gear

Well when I bought my last Guzzi from them, it refused to tickover, took it back within an hour, had the mechanic (who now runs and own's Moto Strada) have a look at it, there was some slight improvement but it took an order for a new ECU Eprom chip from the states to cure it. Mind you I also bought another bike from a certain dealer in Bradford, took it home parked it, the following weekend went out for a blast, 20 miles later one of the front brake calipers feel off its mounting !!!!!!.
