Has anyone seen or tried it. Morini claim 140bhp @ 8500rpm & 123Nm (91ft/lbs) @ 6500rpm. I took a demo out for a short run on Saturday. It had just over 200 miles on the clock so I didn't thrash it, but boy, does it have some grunt. I shall be going for another ride in a month, by which time it will be run in. It looks superb in the flesh, with only the headlamp surrounds looking cheap as chips IMO. My Thunderbird Sport could be living on borrowed time !!! Inline Image Inline Image

Number of new Morini's have had good write ups. Not a clue where the nearest dealer is, or standard of aftersales backup.

The nearest dealer to me is 10 minutes away. The bikes come with a 3-year warranty (not that I would buy a new one), so Moto Morini must be confident with the product. I believe the Corsaro 1200 has been on the market since 2006.

I've test ridden the Corsaro. It's a beautiful fire-breathing demon of a bike. But my impression was that it was very highly strung. It would probably be a fabulous bike to have in the garage, and to take out for a maniac ride on warmdry summer weekends. But I need a do-it-all bike that will cope with all-weather 30 miles a day urban commuting, as well as weekend tom-hoonery. So I decided to do the sensible thing... ...and bought a 1200 8v Moto Guzzi Griso. I know...
