Hi all

finally got around to upgrading the suspension on my bike (T595 in sp3 outfit) , mate of mine is a dealer of Hyperpro and reccomended the kit from them (off course he did ). Anyway i did follow his advise.Kit excists of front fork spings +oil, and rear spring ....HUGE improvement on front end....don't quite know about the rear yet....seems to sag well but feels a little hard and maybe to "quick" even without any compression dialed in ???? will have to play around with this ....will post any results....but so far worth the 180 £.

without any compression dialled in it will be VERY quick and will feel hard because it will bottom out as well very easily, especially if the spring is corect for you and the bike (sags are good).

Hi X-man

Hyperpro booklet that came with spring kit said NO compression at back damper ...and it doesn't seem to bottom out....will try standard setting though.Thanx

Are we talking about the same thing....I am talking about compression which is set by the hydraulic's NOT preload which is set on the spring. I suspect the hyperpro is talking about PRELOAD but not sure....

Were talking about the same thing....Compression....I didn't get it either but it says so in manual for spring kit

SPRING PRELOAD: 9-10 mm
NO COMPRESSION
REBOUND: 1,5 turns ± 0,5

Anyway will have to play with for a while ....but for now we have heavy rain here ,not the best weather for testing on open country roads.... will keep you posted.

Hyperpro

All sorted...still a bit harsh rear ,but much better after readjustment both front and rear....But still NO compression on rear damper ??? could it be the progressive spring doesn't need it ?

I have Hyperpro springs in mine too. At back there is very little compression damping and rebound is at max or bit more than Hyperpro recomends.

I quess the triumph shock is just has enough compression damping even at or close to minimum...

The front is definetly bigger improvement.
However I prefer bit softer oil than the one in Hyperpro set. (10W but from different manufacturer).

recomended defaults were good on smooth surfaces but some tweaking was needed to get it to my liking.
