My daughter wanted to find her mobile phone which was in her handbag somewhere. She then borrowed my phone to call her's to get it ringing in order to assist her finding it.

How lazy can you get??
Had a call from SWMBO. Step daughter's car has broken down 3 miles from our home so could I bring a Land Rover & a rope home so I could tow the car back for me to have a look at this evening 
"She's in the AA" says I "so why doesn't she give them a call?"
"She doesn't want to ring them incase they find out what's wrong with the car and try to charge her" came the replay

I think I may have unintentionally mislead you slightly now that I re-read my post.
The handbag was in her hand, she just couldn't be bothered to wade through all the pockets to see which one it was in. FFS, the bag is no larger than a tissue box. I feel all the technology that has gone into developing and making these phones is being wasted.

That's how it works over here too. They charge for the parts they fit but labour is often F.O.C.
I suppose if you're thick, fit & 19 you may see things slightly differently?
