....when it is time to change the rotors out? My 98 T595 w/ 18,xxx miles needs new pads frt and rr. I assume the pads are original (2mm left) as well as the rotors. Is there a min. thickness measurement for the rotors? or is there something else to look for that would tell me I need to change out the rotors?

Brian, the service limit is stamped on them. 3.5 mm I think. When new they're 4mm

well...i borrowed a digital caliper and it showed one front at 3.85mm and the other at around 3.75-3.8 mm and the rear showed 5.0 mm?! On second look there are really no abnormal grooves so do I just take off the rotors, rough them up(or turn them) and replace pads or do I just do a pad slap...never done bike brakes before....
