Crap. Didn't manage a practise lap cos of a warped rear disc, first race had another problem and puled in after half a lap, second race pulled in after gear change rod fell off after half a lap..the it got a bit better managed to finish the thrid race and got up to 10th in the last race after starting dead last in a feild of 24 runners. He was disappointed.

Sounds like a bad day, although 24th to 10th has got to be a good result hasn't it?

Good though he was riding like a wuss and should have been up to about 4th really.

His starts from the back of the grid were worth watching though...
I thought he didn't look like he was really trying in the race I saw him finish... But it must be a bit disheartening racing these 250 GP bikes on a road 400...

Yup, you have it one Kev, he admits he was disheartened and not really trying (which actually makes his performance even more amazing really) as could be seen by his body position on the bike. Still he stayed on and we can tweak the bike a bit more now but money is becoming a real problem now as we have spent so juch this season. So its shoestring racing from here on in.
