Fed up with the buffeting on my lid and am looking for the highest screen to fit my bike. I have a standard and a double bubble (currently on the bike) but it is not enough. The lid I have doesn't help (Shuberth Concept) and is considerable worse for buffeting than my Roof lid, but I want to use it as it is a flip front with internal drop down visor and has Audiocom installed. It is so bad around 80mph that your vison becomes quite blurry. So unless you keep your head firmly plaster to the tank or keep below 70 it is a real pain. It's getting me down and if I can't solve it the bike is going and I'll look at a Sprint.

Any suggestions?

KK, are you tall? I am only 5'8" and have a similar helmet (caberg Justissimo) with Autocom etc, and have a double bubble screen on my 04 daytona. longest run I had recently at higher speeds was to and from London, and did not suffer as you have done.

When I was searching for a higher screen (I had fitted gillies risers) I did come across a german company that does a screen with a built in aerofoil that is supposed to break up the buffeting air stream..cannot remember what they were called, but I am sure they had one that fitted the older daytona..but not mine

Tail End Paddy, the clear screen in your picture 'Newer Pic" looks similar to mine. I think I may have compounded the prob by having an Airhawk seat which raises you up a bit.

Nivram, you couldn't have a scratch about and remember that German site could you? I'm 5'11''.

j.p. No Powerbronzes on Ebay at the moment. However I had a look on their website and I think maybe a highish flip up screen may work, only they don't make one for a 955i.

Had a similar issue King Key,,,Actually removed the double bubble in favour of the original as with the bubble the airstream was directed straight onto my helmet, back with the OEM the airstream is now more even across my chest, rather than bashin my noggin around like an apple in a washing machine...

KK I had power bronze on 955i and have one fitted one on the 675 for the same reason being buffeted I found/ find them to work well I'm 5-10 got mine from power bronze direct. The only other suggestion is the helmet is causing the problem ??

KK I had a power bronze on my 955i and have just fitted one to my 675 for the same reason as you and both times they have cured the problem bought the last one from them direct. I'm 5.10 with enough bulk to stick out at the sides but I'v had no problems since fitting them the only other thought is it's the helmet causing the problem ??
