I installed a high exhaust on my 98 t595. Now I need to put the foot pegs back on. Does anyone know where I can get the extension kit for the foot pegs. Or, can I just get longer bolts and fabricate some kind of extension sleeve? If so how long does the extension need to be?

Any idea how long the new bolts and spacers are supposed to be?

From memory the spacers are 20mm long. New bolts should be 20mm longer than what you have now too.

Got the details somewhere - I'll have to look!
Though, from memory the spacers that go to the frame beneath the pipe mounting bracket are the same - so the bolts will be that much longer!

Cheaper to buy a 2nd set of spacers from your dealer and get some bolts from a SS bolt stockist ~ like "Inox"

http://www.inoxgrp.co.uk/

Bollox, I'll measure mine - as I removed the pillion seat and footrests from my bike!

Right - Spacers are 20mm (M8 bolt) - #A9750044
Bolts for fitting are M8 x 90mm

OE bolts are M8 x 52, so an extra 20mm for the spacer + the footrest = 90mm!!

Though, at that length I wouldn't advise having a pillion stand on the footrests!
It would be for resting their feet only!

jack lilleys do the proper set for about six pounds or so, the spacers are 30mm long so the bolts will need to bee the same, you may only want to carry people who have been horse riding to boot lol
