The waiting is over, all the organisation is done...

Goodstock 2 will be on Friday 12th to Sunday 14th September, 2008 Drinking will commence mid afternoon Friday

Venue is the famous Clatford Arms, in Goodworth Clatford, south of Andover, postcode SP11 7RN for the sat nav fans..

http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/29/29771/Clatfor.....dworth_Clatford

Landlord knows we are coming, field at back of pub reserved for bikes and tents. Some southern softies will be erecting their (ahem) massive edifices on Friday morning...

Extra stocks of shandy and Pimms being brought in. Good bar food available each night and breakfasts organised.

Saturday rideout is via new routes in Dorset, with fish & chips at the half way point. Alternatively see the Army Air Corp helicopter museum just up the road at Middle Wallop for a more relaxing afternoon.

Pub games are being planned, plus hopefully some surprises (no Honda C90s, tho)

No t shirts this year ( I can't close the drawer on the bloody T595.net memorial gear as it is), but we may think of something else...

International visitors already booked in - Dan from Sweden and Phil from Australia.

So who we going to see there this year from the midlands and south?

Theres a posh place opposite the pub, the Queen Anne Cottage

http://www.queenannecottage.co.uk/index.htm

some B&Bs in Andover on the road to Goodworth - about three miles away, taxis run to GC

perhaps try this site:

http://www.bandbandover.co.uk/

also chain hotels in the area - Premier Inn, Quality Inn, both in Andover, Travelodge at Barton Stacey

First I've got to get rid of all the old stuff, including the floorboards.
Then level the joists (I'm assuming they will be all over the place, but I may be lucky)
Crack off all the old tiles,
Re-wire (Shhhhh)
then make good (plaster.)

1st in will be the shower, which involves erecting a stud wall etc. then the bog and finally the basin.

(basin, yeah that a good un. The bloody Basin/vanity/cupboard is costing £1500

Oh, currently I have a seperate bog to the main bathroom and I'm knocking them all together which involves smashing stud walls out and moving the main door.

Retile (top to bottom)

So far this is coming in at circa £5K in parts alone

And yes, the bathroom is quite big (2.5m x 3.5m)

Last thing is "Fancy Lino" Geez, that (fitted) is another £500

Basically, I may have to prostitute my body to pay for it all

Al's right, I booked the tickets so we fly back from Ireland on Thursday, have normal hangover Thursday night and out to play with you guys on Friday.
It will be very strange without you Riggsy, are you sure there isn't a particular spare part that can only be available from down south that weekend?

Will be good to see you Dan - do you need to borrow a bike? Feel free to call or email us\me.

Also if anyone is in need of tyres around that time, let us know. We will give you a quote and if it's acceptable to you we will fit them at Southern scrop without you even having to leave your beer

Is the quarter acre plot put aside for the chateux?

All geared up for the evening entertainment if we the ok from the landlord. will text and call you to sort details.

Being a Cub scout leader I have access to a tug'o'war rope. I am sure I can fit it on the bike along with the tent and other stuff!

Right, I`m out of here. Bike cleaned and checked over, camping gear packed and loaded on bike, routes loaded to Sat-Nav and rain gear ready. Tomorrow will be tough. Hope to make the Danish/German frontier by nightfall, 1000 Kms from here. Leaving before first light, so it`s an early night for me.
My route takes me through Arnhem so will be stopping there for a night or two and having a look around.
Looking forward to seeing you all sometime Friday

Well scrub our entry. Let down at the last minute by the girls father - can't have them this weekend! What a total knobber....

Oh well, guess I couldn't really afford it, weather is gonna be shit (though I hope not for you lot) tax disc fell off the TDM and vanished into the ether.

Oh and you'd realise that Lorn's just a figment of my imagination, pictures of some girl off the interweb thingy...

Poo and cock. I was looking forward to meeting you all (shows I'm still not well) - have a great time.

Nice to meet up with old faces, and new ones.

Ducatiman ( Buell Boy )
Tri-Saki
PegLeg
Dan The Man ( making good use of my zorst )
S Punch ( did they spunk on yer tent? )
Daz
RM
etc.
etc.

A whole load of us left for a ride out to Sammy Millers, but a bunch got lost / broke down

There was a BMW there also, but it had 4 wheels

On the ride home I picked up a ZX 9R which was fun.....
