Abnyone succesfully got the Garmin Zumo 550 to connect with the AutoCom bluetouth dongle? The garmin "sees" the dongle but fails to connect, tried pass keys 1234 and 0000, to no avail

DOH! just figured it out...you don't input a pass code..its a dongle (whatever that is)......why do I figure this out when the piggin bike is 300 miles away!!!!!

right update

The other issue I mentioned was the battery failing me, was only 3 months old.

doing a bit of searching and it seams that this happens frequently, the advise is not to mount your device until the bike has started.

will see how this progresses
