Does anyone know what other bikes / bike manufacturers use the same Nissin calipers as our Daytona and Speed Triples?

I'm looking to get some new seals.

But a tad put off by Triumphs quote of £42 PER FUCKING CALIPER FFS!!!

I'm sure if I can find a KawazukiYamonda that use the same calipers then the seals will cost me sixpence ( not sure if this smilie is coins, or biscuits, or small meteorites - but you get the idea )

Hey Dan,

How you doing?

Forgot about Sprint - still pricey. There shed loads of those calipers made, so how much can those seals cost? I'd consider a couple of quid a piece fair....it's just this endless mark up rip off that pisses me off

J-Zeus,
Measure the OD of the pistons and go to any independant bike shop.

I got seals for all 3 calipers on my old Tiger just over a year ago, a bottle of hydraulic oil and pads for the back for 50 quid.

Asked for seals for a Tiger and he said "I only do bits for jap bikes"
Told him they were Nissin calipers and he got the book out and asked if they were 27mm pistons all round.
"sounds about right" said I.
"I'll have them in tomorow then" said Ken.
