Any way to achieve this...I'd like my bike to have 'instant' bark, rather then taking .5 second to get on song.

Any ideas, I'm running a high level race can with HLR tune.

Would prefer to avoid expensive tuneboy / powercommander / endless dyno runs ( at least 'til I'm no longer being cradit crunched ).

Was serviced at 18k ( now at 19.5k ), and recently cleaned the jets and changed the fuel filter.

Both done - it's initial engine pickup.

17/43 isn't two up on the rear.

You'll need a proper map and even then it will always be a bit slow on pickup unless you start from 4K...

I'm on 44 now.

It's not a problem really, just could be a tad more eager

Is this a throttle response issue? Breaking off of idle? What?

Yeah response. If I crack the throttle there is a beat before it kicks in - more noticable when hot

My bike is the same way. Some say to get your TSP reset to zero. I may try that.

same issue here. Mainly off the lights and when bike is a bit hot.Have just learned to load up the clutch a bit more than usual.

I was hoping going down one on the front would cure it but like you said.... I guess not.

My s3 had a flat spot just off idle, dunno if your problem is the same, but Tony recommended a low level tune and that cured mine
