I go out for a ride early yesterday morning and I get about 5 miles from my house when I run over something. It was a little foggy and I did not see it until...wham! The rear of the bike jumps way up off the pavement in a very eye opening way. The bike seems fine but I decide to pull off and take look for damage. I take a look and find that I have bent the right side of the rear wheel rim. Photo Album Image After venting my obscenities into the cool morning air, I go back to see what I ran over. It was a small piece of 1/4 inch thick flat iron about 3x4 inches in size. From what I can tell, I ran over it with the front wheel and managed to flip it up just enough to let the rear tire grab it and roll it over, lifting the bike and bending the rim in the process. Photo Album Image So my question now is can this wheel be repaired or should I just replace it?

Well........it happened last year, 6-7 weeks afore my Mega trip to MotoGP.....and let's put it this way, if I hadn't found a brand new Brembo/Triumph front wheel on Ebay, i'd of never of got the trip started. figure IF the bloke is busy, around 4 weeks ....BUt the quality of work ( and I was not going to chance a front wheel) was excellent!!
