I have an Akito textile jacket.... paid £99 a good few years back... it was okay but the waterproof claim was a tad optimistic The best cure was not to ride in the rain.... s'what I have the car for

It used to be good kit. I had a pair of Pythons for years, never leaked until the seat actually wore through.
