We've seen a few faults with the 1000, mainly screws coming out of the plastic parts.

I have a pair of Puma boots, they are very comfortable, I tried loads of makes and models, but they felt the best on. So many boots are just too narrow and seem to be designed to prevent the blood from ever reaching your toes. You can walk all day in them and still feel comfortable (an added bonus for Ducati owners). Mine are like the top picture, but without the shiney bit on the front.
