about what i expected, less then I wanted. I can't believe there is no tiger cub or off road big tiger. Seems as though that would be easy. I am sure there limited R&D was sucked up by the big twin which looks better then I thought it would. Glad to see the the 675 was not left to stagnate performance wise, though I hope the extra power is all around and not just in the added rev range. quick-shifter sounds interesting and is the type of thing the track crazy mags will eat up!

I still reckon there might be something else in the wings, still a good line up though.

Picture of the 1600 (bonnie) in the Motorrad (German); cruisers are not my thing but it does look nice!

Yes, a lot more 'finished' than the prototype shots seen earlier.

Y'know, that's not a bad looking machine. Thunderbird. Quite nice.

I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder but fook me what were they thinking. Lets hope that 1600cc thing looks better in the flesh. It looks like one of these, ie shit and Japanese. http://www.edgeperformance.ca/kawasakicruisers/images/0.....F_blk_a.jpg.jpg

The black eighties style Bonnie looks nice and i like the slight re-style on the 675.

Every manufacturer makes bikes that people don't like and others they love, it is impossible to build a large range that appeals to everyone. I love the look of that Bonnie.

I'm only picking on the 1600cc cruiser. If I were in the market for a high end cruiser I would want it to look like a Triumph not an 80s Kawasaki. Tis fooking shite.

looking a little like this.. http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/submittedphotos/1994Kawa.....ator-TracyM.jpg you could probably get most of the rest of it to look OK but I'm not keen on the engine's appearance myself. exhausts are gumby but who doesnt change the exhausts?

Have to agree with Andy D on the 1600 - the look of the thing totally negates the Thunderbird reputation built up with the triple engine version Inline Image Why oh why couldn't the 1050 lump have been shoehorned into one of these instead?

The bike doesn't do much for me but I'm not the target market.

I sadly have to agree the 1600 looks sooooo japanese...... and look at the size of the radiator........ I hate radiators and Triumph dont seem to care, a la Bonnie, R3 and now the 1600. Style is dead.

The 1600 has a radiator the size of a cinema screen. It kills it.

i'll stick with my daytona super3 and T-595 and tt-600's I get compliments all the time about the styling. i think the 675 looks like a yamaha. i think triumph is loosing it. i don't see many bonnies on the road either. from what i gather on these fourms most of us don't really like the dealerships either. here in the Denver area there are just 2 , foothills triumph/bmw (they suck!)and ericomotorsports.com...and they are triumph /ducati...these guys are pretty cool . i wrote them and told the manager i had heard the the dealerships were not goig to work on bikes older then 10 years (harley refuses to ) he wrote me back a nice letter saying he did'nt know about this and his shop will defenatly service any of the 1990's on. sure wish triumph would go racing..it would sure boost the image and sales.

Well if Triumph are losing it the fact that sales are increasing year on year will make them feel better 'most of us don't really like the dealerships either. ' You do like your generalisations don't you ? Also you heard dealers wont work on bikes older than 10 years of age but your dealer denied it. I'm not actually sure what your post was all about.

Spondon , i've read many posts from dissatisfied ridere in England that are less then impressed buy dealership support. my point was some of that is true here in the states. also so many guys are asking "where's the 1050cc daytona?" sounds like they are not satisfied with the companys direction....i know i'm not. so do you think racing would be a good move or not? p.s. if thats your bike in the avitar...it's wicked cool , who did the paint work?

They are racing the 675. Just won the British Supersport series and there are supported entries in World Supersport. They do appear to be concentrating on other markets than to 1000cc sportsbike. Presumably they feel that's where the profits are.

The 675 is racing and winning in the UK, France and Germany. They are even in the World Supersport where they didn't (6th was the best they did)
