Do Oxford products do a plug in connector for their battery charger (Oximiser)? I'm assuming you can charge the battery via the 12v socket, unless you know different?

Don't know about the Oxford charger as I've had an Optimate for YEARS. You can charge through the 12v socket (I have on both my Tigers) If Oxford don't sell the lead then buy a plug and make your own lead it is the most convenient way to charge your battery.

Thanks Trucker but I've already got a power socket, I need the the male connection to fit it. I'll probably try Radio Spares and make one up.

They don't keep that plug in my local Maplins, which is where I looked first. Easier to find them in caravan shops.

Hi mike fisher, If you have trouble tracking down a male connector for your power socket locally then you can always buy the following Accumate Accessory Plug Lead http://www.accumate.co.uk/it020003.htm The white connector at the other is usually a Tamiya (male) connector. Optimates and Accumates are usually fitted with a corresponding Kyosho (female) connector. This type of connector ensures the correct polarity connection plus it has a simple locking device. If you're really lucky your Oximiser will also have a Kyosho connector. If not then pop down to your local Maplin store because it stocks both Tamiya and Kyosho connectors.
