Here is a dyno chart that shows the improvement from a series of modifications: http://www.moto-lab.com/gallery/view?itemid=155. Scroll down for the chart key and links to other relevant images, click image for high res view. I think the comparison to a stock '03 Daytona (link at the bottom) is especially interesting. Derek, very nice site and chart. I live in the SF bay area as well, particularly Cupertino. I need a reset of my TPS and a reloaded map. Who has a Tuneboy? Can you suggest a place or person who has a Tuneboy who can help? Thanks

Vic, you know that each Tuneboy is keyed to your ECM, you can do diagnostic or reset things IIRC, but not download maps or tune. Why do you think you need TPS reset, not normally needed. I have a Tuneboy cable and the software on my laptop and am at a dynoshop at Infineon Raceway. Jim 707 548-7906.

I was under the impression stock 99-01 S3s had about 98hp. Was really wrong I guess. nice graphs.

Vic, I have tuneboy/tunedit (how else could I have done the tuning to produce those charts, right?). Give me a call on (650) 353-0535, and I'll get you squared away. Regards, Derek

Jim, TuneBoy/TuneEdit come as a package. TuneBoy allows the diagnostic stuff, idle trims TPS resets etc., while TuneEdit allows map loading & manipulation, rev limit setting, etc. Regards, Derek

Blue, You would probably see around 98 hp from a stockish '99-'01 Speed Triple on a DynoJet inertia dyno. See http://www.moto-lab.com/Dobeck.pdf and http://www.factorypro.com/dyno/true1.html. Regards, Derek
